  In Australia outdoors, including in national parks, mobile phone reception is not reliable.

• 潜在风险 Risk

  • 如果你走丢了，受伤了，需要援助，你很有可能无法联系到外界 : If you got injured or got lost, you might not be able to contact the outside world.

  • 你很有可能被困在野外: You are very likely to stuck in the wild alone.

  • 救援可能很久才会到来: it might take a long time for the rescuing team to arrive

  • 救援难度非常大,特别是在天气不好的时候，可能几天，几周，甚至几个月: it is hard to find someone in an remote area, especially when the weather is bad, it can take days, weeks and even months

• 怎么办，如何保证安全呢？What can you do to keep safe?

  • 告知你的朋友徒步计划 :Tell your friends your plan

  • 提前查好天气预报，随时关注天气；如果天气不好，不要出发；如果天气变差，及时返回：Check the weather before you go and keep monitoring it; if it is bad, don't go. If the weather is turning, turn back.
